What it does

iDoklad is Czech online invoicing software for quotes, advance invoices, customer billing and accountant collaboration. Higher plans add bank matching, reminders and an Inbox for received invoices. It works in a browser and through mobile apps, with a free five-contact plan and a 60-day trial of the broader service.

iDoklad can replace repeated document handoffs between a Czech business and its accountant. Prepare quotes and billing documents, record payments, then give colleagues or an accountant their own access within the plan's user allowance. It also connects with accounting software such as Money S3 and Pohoda.

The Czech subscription prices below exclude VAT. Annual figures are the advertised monthly equivalents for yearly payment:

Plan Pay monthly Monthly equivalent when paid annually Included users
Zdarma CZK 0 CZK 0 One, with five contacts
Základní CZK 240 CZK 187 Two, with unlimited contacts
Oblíbený CZK 430 CZK 358 Five
Prémiový CZK 750 CZK 625 Nine

Quarterly billing is another option. The trial lasts 60 days without a payment card. Bank matching and automatic reminders begin with Oblíbený; its API allowance is 7,500 requests a month, compared with 75,000 on Prémiový.

For matching, open Nastavení > Banka > Párování bankovních pohybů and enable the automatic-payment option. Configure your supported bank to send notifications to the generated destination. The support list includes Czech banks such as Air Bank, Fio and ČSOB, plus selected Slovak banks; mBank's emails are unsuitable for this process. The payment reference must be correct for automatic matching.

Reminder settings let you choose the first delay, later intervals and a minimum invoice amount. The customer needs an email address and Odesílat upomínky enabled on their contact card. Automatic reminders cover ordinary invoices; advance invoices are followed up individually. iDoklad caps the automatic sequence at ten reminders.

Handling received documents

Inbox is available from Oblíbený. Generate its email address through Nastavení > Nákup > Inbox, or upload files directly. Suppliers should attach the document, ideally as a PDF: an email without an attachment is not processed. Review the extracted fields before saving a received invoice or receipt.

AI extraction is separately metered. Three trial extractions are provided, while purchased packs contain 100 credits valid for one year. Each processed document uses one credit. That extra cost is distinct from the subscription and ordinary structured-document reading.

Strengths

  • Separate user access and accounting connections support work with an accountant.
  • Reminder intervals, minimum amounts and contact permissions are configurable.
  • Inbox accepts emailed attachments or uploads and lets you review extracted fields.

Watch out for

  • Free is limited to five contacts and one user.
  • Bank matching requires supported bank notifications and correct payment references.
  • AI document extraction uses separately purchased credits after the trial allowance.

Best for

  • Czech businesses working with an accountant
  • Freelancers managing both customer invoices and received bills
