What it does
ImageOnline provides a broad online utility suite with image crop, merge, resize, transparency and format-processing tools.
For transparent PNG joining, add files one by one, choose horizontal or vertical layout and set an optional border's position, width and colour. Merge previews the result before PNG download. Differently sized inputs may be resized for the layout, so check the subject proportions and final dimensions. This particular merger says it is free, needs no signup and processes in the browser without uploading files. Those statements should not be generalized to every ImageOnline AI or conversion tool.
