What it does

Inboxroad offers campaign creation alongside SMTP and API delivery, with separate packages for each setup. An account, verified email address and authenticated sending domain are needed to start sending. Plans renew monthly, and a trial is available to try the service.

Start by deciding whether the job is delivering messages from another application or composing campaigns inside Inboxroad. At the displayed 100,000-email monthly allowance, the packages are:

Package Monthly price Main scope
SMTP EUR 68 SMTP relay and APIs; one dedicated IP and one sending domain
Email EUR 248 Campaign builder, templates, lists and segmentation; one IP and domain
Email Pro EUR 578 Campaigns plus SMTP/API delivery and additional sending controls; two IPs and domains

For a newsletter operation, review the suppression workflow before the next send. Inboxroad describes automatic suppression for bounces and complaints and manual blocking for other addresses. Its suppression page also discusses adding unsubscribes, so establish how opt-outs from the actual sending workflow reach that list. A new audience file should not be treated as permission to contact previously excluded people.

Plans renew monthly. Excess sends are charged at the plan's corresponding rate in the following month, while extra sending domains and IPs have separate charges. Extra IPs cost EUR 39 per month and extra domains EUR 10 per month.

Create the account with an email address and password, confirm the emailed verification link, then add the sending domain and its DNS records. The setup guide asks for a test email so support can check the configuration before normal sending begins.

Strengths

  • Campaign-building and relay packages serve different sending setups
  • Bounce and complaint suppression can be maintained alongside contact lists

Watch out for

  • Excess volume and additional sending domains or IPs add charges

Best for

  • Teams choosing between an existing application's email relay and an integrated campaign builder
