What it does

InclusiveColors is a palette editor built around HSLuv and contrast checking. It keeps individual shades editable and offers WCAG 2 and APCA contrast views, with exports for code and design applications.

Keep neutral, action and status colours together while adjusting each tint. The HSLuv controls let hue and saturation change without changing perceived brightness, and lightness curves can be linked between colour groups. The contrast menu switches between WCAG 2 and APCA checks. In the APCA view, exchanging foreground and background changes the result.

For handoff, export CSS variables, a Tailwind configuration file or Adobe ASE swatches. Figma uses a DTCG design-token export through a separate import plugin. SVG and PNG palette images provide another way to bring colours into a drawing app.

The editor does not support P3, the wider colour range available on some displays. APCA is presented as a developing contrast method, so its result should not be described as a WCAG 2 pass.

Strengths

  • Every tint remains editable instead of being fixed by an automatic generator.
  • Exports cover both code variables and design-app swatches.

Watch out for

  • The HSLuv editor does not provide P3 colours.
  • The Figma route requires a separate import plugin.

Best for

  • Designers building reusable interface colours with planned text and background pairings.
