What it does
Indeed is a job-search and matching service that lets candidates search vacancies, post resumes and research companies. It operates through several country services, with employer hiring tools presented separately from the jobseeker offering.
Begin with the country service relevant to the work you want. Indeed’s own company page describes a multi-country operation, so the existence of a global brand should not substitute for the location requirements in a vacancy. Then use the job search to form a shortlist and company research to investigate the organisations behind it.
Resume posting is another part of the candidate workflow, allowing your experience to support discovery and matching rather than only individual applications. Keep that resume consistent with the documents you intend to send. The useful combination is vacancy discovery plus employer context: a familiar job title can describe different responsibilities at different organisations, so read the actual advert before preparing a tailored application.
Choose the profile’s visibility deliberately. Employers can find you makes the profile and resume searchable; Employers can’t find you limits visibility to employers you apply to or share it with. Changing that setting does not retract earlier applications or copies already received by employers.
