What it does
Infor CRM SLX connects customer relationships, sales opportunities and back-office information. Enterprise resource planning connections expose business context, while the Windows client links deals to accounts, products and contacts. Outlook, Gmail and mobile tools support related sales work.
The Windows client requires a user ID and password from the system administrator. Open an account and choose Insert > Opportunity. Verify the account and manager, set an estimated close date and select a status from the organization's list. Add product quantities and contacts, then save.
Read the intended pipeline subset
Open the opportunity group, select the relevant records and right-click for Statistics for Selected Opportunities. With no selection, the statistics cover the whole group. Check that selection before interpreting the result as one salesperson's or product set's pipeline.
The steps apply to the documented Windows client. Request a demonstration of the intended client and enterprise resource planning (ERP) connection when discussing a rollout.
