What it does
Interaction Design Foundation offers self-paced UX and design courses, career programs, masterclasses and a free public design library. Paid membership includes courses, certificates, templates and community access. The Student, Professional and Design League options differ in course load, job matching and coaching.
IxDF courses combine lessons, quizzes, exercises and discussion forums. You can work at your own pace without required live sessions. The public Library offers a separate route for reading about design topics before committing to membership.
Individual membership
The signup page currently displays these prices in pounds sterling:
| Plan | Billing | Main distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Student | £12/month, billed annually | Up to two courses at once; no job matching |
| Professional | £20/month, billed annually | Unlimited course access and job matching |
| Design League | £75/month, billed monthly | Adds a personal coach |
Student and Professional prices are monthly equivalents, not monthly payment options. Design League includes one hour of individual coaching per month, and unused time does not carry over.
Choose a membership through Start Today, then use the login link emailed after payment. A 14-day money-back guarantee covers the initial decision to join; it is not a free membership. Masterclasses have their own registration and pricing, so check an individual class before assuming it is included at no extra charge.
