What it does
Internet Download Manager adds segmented downloads, browser integration, queues and scheduling to file retrieval on Windows.
Install IDM on Windows and keep its browser integration enabled so selected links and ordinary downloads enter the manager. Categories can organize jobs by file type or site, while several queues can run at chosen times or perform periodic synchronization. The scheduler can disconnect or shut down the computer after the work finishes. Recovery and segmentation are available, but compatibility with the actual source still matters. The documented Windows range is 7 through 11. A thirty-day trial needs no email address or card; continued use requires a license.
