What it does
Airtool 2 captures Wi-Fi traffic with a Mac’s built-in adapter or compatible remote sensors and passes captures to Wireshark or optional online analysis services.
Set capture limits and packet slicing before collecting the traffic needed for an investigation. Airtool 2 can rotate capture files and launch Wireshark during a capture or when it finishes. Remote capture uses a compatible Linux sensor, with multiple sensors enabling multichannel work. CloudShark and supported Packets integrations are optional upload routes, so the destination matters when captures contain internal traffic. Other capture sources, including Zigbee or Bluetooth LE, require the appropriate hardware. The current Mac application requires macOS 13.5 or later and has a three-day trial.
