What it does
Invoice2go provides estimates, invoices, payment tracking, expenses and time billing through web, iOS and Android apps. A service business can prepare a bill on site, then follow its status and payment reminders from the same account. It offers a 30-day free trial, followed by subscription plans with different invoice allowances.
Invoice2go is useful when the work happens away from a desk. You can prepare an estimate, add job details and send an invoice from a phone, while the same business information stays available across devices.
On mobile, open Invoices and tap +. Select the customer, add saved items or new work, and include expenses or time entries where needed. After saving, tap Next to preview the document and choose Send. A deposit request requires online payments to be enabled.
In the browser, use Create > Invoice or Invoices > Create an invoice. Add the client and items, inspect Preview, then open Send to choose payment options and reminders. Photos and payment instructions can explain a completed job without a separate message.
Choose by invoice volume and workflow
| Plan | Annual invoice allowance | Distinguishing features |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 30 | Invoice creation, reminders and status tracking |
| Professional | 100 | QuickBooks or Xero integration and advanced reports |
| Premium | Unlimited | Recurring invoices and phone support |
The free trial lasts 30 days. Subscription amounts depend on the offer shown for your location and billing term, so check the selected plan before subscribing. An included invoice allowance does not make online card processing free.
Payment options depend on the market and provider. For the Stripe route, open Account & settings > Client payment options, enable card payments and choose Connect with Stripe. A new merchant application must be approved before collection can begin. Invoice2go's setup guide lists Australia, Canada, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom for this route.
Card fees vary with the subscription, card type and country. Check the applicable fee schedule, especially when customers use foreign-issued cards. Other Invoice2go payment routes can have different terms.
For recurring maintenance work, Premium's repeating invoices may be the relevant upgrade. For a smaller number of one-off jobs, compare the yearly invoice allowance with the number of bills you actually send, including staged payments for larger projects.
