What it does
Invoicebus provides online quotes and invoices with links that customers can open and pay in a browser. It connects to 2Checkout, Stripe or PayPal and tracks unpaid balances and document activity. A 30-day trial requires no credit card; paid plans mainly differ by stored client allowance and selected automation features.
Invoicebus connects a client invoice to the payment provider you already use. Link a supported 2Checkout, Stripe or PayPal account, create the document and email its link. The customer opens the invoice in a browser and uses its payment action.
The editor keeps customer details, line items and payment options together. Saved products, prices and usual terms reduce repeated entry. Quotes can be accepted by the customer and converted to invoices, which is useful for agreeing the scope before collecting payment.
Branding goes beyond adding a logo. Invoicebus supports editable wording and custom HTML layouts, along with ready-made templates. The dashboard shows paid, unpaid and overdue balances, while activity notifications cover document views, comments, quote acceptance and payments.
The published monthly choices are:
| Plan | Monthly price | Stored clients |
|---|---|---|
| Van | $0.95 | Up to 5; 2Checkout connection and basic support |
| Minibus | $9.95 | Up to 15 |
| Single-decker | $19.95 | Up to 50 |
| Double-decker | $29.95 | Unlimited |
The three main bus tiers allow unlimited documents. Minibus uses manual reminders and thank-you messages; the higher main tiers list automation. Annual or two-year prepayment discounts are offered. Jumbo Bus is still marked coming soon.
The trial lasts 30 days and does not require a payment card. Ongoing service uses a subscription. Invoicebus does not add its own per-transaction platform fee, but the connected payment provider's charges and eligibility still apply.
You can issue documents in different currencies and languages. Online collection in a currency requires support from the selected provider. The FAQ does not list Automated Clearing House bank payments as supported and says shopping-cart integration is unavailable.
Invoicebus fits freelancers and small service businesses that want branded invoice links and client follow-up. Check the client cap, reminder automation and payment connection together when choosing a plan.
