What it does
It's FOSS publishes Linux and open-source news, software discovery articles, tutorials and explanatory material.
Its mix helps readers move from hearing about an open-source project to understanding its purpose. Separate the publication's guide from the project's own licensing and installation documentation when evaluating a specific tool. The FOSS Weekly newsletter is presented as a Linux-learning route. Courses, community and member e-books are separate from reported software news.
