What it does
iugu connects Brazilian billing through Pix, boleto payment slips, cards and payment links. Businesses can combine its collection service with recurring billing, seller splits and embedded financial accounts. Pricing is negotiated in a commercial proposal, and a verified account is required for live activity.
To set up regular charges in the Portuguese dashboard, open Recebimento > Faturamento Automático (Assinaturas) > Planos > Novo. Give the plan a name and a unique identifier, then choose its interval, permitted payment methods and amount. For example, an interval of 6 with the type Mês produces a six-month schedule. The identifier cannot contain spaces, accents or symbols.
Create the customer's subscription under Recebimento > Faturamento Automático > Novo > Novo Cliente. Additional items can increase the next invoice, while negative items provide discounts. The cycle limit controls when the plan stops renewing; the first charge is not counted as a renewal cycle.
Available money can be transferred to a registered bank account belonging to the same account holder. The withdrawal setup asks for a document confirming the bank account. Automatic transfers can move the available balance each day.
The account-verification forms ask for a Brazilian personal or business tax identifier, contact details, business activity and the withdrawal account. iugu can request further documentation and assess transaction limits. Commercial terms can include setup, monthly licensing, fixed and percentage transaction fees, and a minimum contracted monthly volume or revenue. Review these together in the proposal and dashboard fee agreement before committing to a collection schedule.
