What it does
JDownloader is a free, open-source download manager with start, stop and pause controls, bandwidth limits and automatic archive extraction.
Paste URLs into LinkGrabber, capture supported clipboard links or use Add links to choose the package name and download path. Move the selected entries into the download list, then start them; Auto Confirm and Auto Start are separate settings, so a collected link need not begin downloading immediately. JDownloader provides pause, bandwidth and archive-extraction controls for long batches. The manager is free and open source, but a host can still require its own free or premium account. MyJDownloader remote control has a separate account and does not grant access to files the source host restricts.
