What it does
JetFormBuilder creates WordPress forms in the native block editor, with conditional fields, calculations and actions after submission. It can create or update posts, register users and save response records. A free plugin is available for unlimited sites; PRO adds paid extensions and vendor support.
Make a submission do the next job
A JetFormBuilder form can create or update WordPress content rather than only send an enquiry. A local directory could collect listing details through a frontend form and use Insert/Update Post as its action after submission. Other actions send email, register a user, call a webhook or redirect the respondent.
Add Store Form Record when the team also needs saved submissions in the dashboard. Its records include status and field data, with error details when an action fails. For a longer application, the Form Page Break block divides the questions into steps; a progress bar shows the respondent's position.
Forms are built in Gutenberg and can be placed in other page builders using a shortcode. The free WordPress plugin covers basic use on unlimited sites.
