What it does

JetOctopus combines JavaScript crawling, log analysis and Search Console and GA4 integrations. It helps technical teams compare page condition, bot activity and connected search or traffic information.

JetOctopus lets technical teams compare what a crawler finds with what search bots actually request. JavaScript crawling describes the pages; server logs describe bot visits; Search Console and GA4 add search and traffic context. A large store can use that combination to investigate a product section that exists on the site but receives little bot attention.

The plan has several independent allowances. Growth includes 500,000 crawled URLs and two million log lines per month. Larger tiers expand both, while the agency and in-house packages allocate connected properties differently. Access to your site's logs and Google properties is needed to use those parts of the analysis.

The seven-day trial requires no credit card and includes the crawler, log analyzer and connected Google reports. It is capped at 10,000 crawled URLs, three months of Search Console history and 500 exported rows per report. Trial accounts are not automatically charged.

Those export and history limits make the trial useful for a focused section of a site. A full catalogue audit needs a paid capacity allowance sized for both URL volume and the much larger number of log entries.

Strengths

  • Links crawl and server-log investigation with Google performance data.
  • Includes JavaScript crawling for sites that need rendered-page analysis.

Watch out for

  • Crawl URLs, log lines and connected properties have separate allowances
  • Trial exports are limited to 500 rows per report
  • Log analysis requires access to the website's server logs

Best for

  • Technical SEO teams working on large catalogues and complex sites
