What it does
Jetpack Workflow organizes recurring accounting work with project templates, client assignments, deadlines and time reports across a practice. Firms can assign a service to several clients and update future work when their process changes. Paid plans charge per team member, with a 14-day trial that does not require a credit card.
Assign a service across your client list
Jetpack Workflow begins with a service template: define the fields and tasks, set a recurring cadence, then assign the work to clients. The native CRM keeps client context attached to projects and tasks, while notifications bring deadlines into view.
In Clients, select the clients who need the service, using filters if necessary. Choose Assign Work, select the template and assignee, then choose a one-off or repeating schedule. Set the frequency and due date before assigning the work. You can also start from a template and use Assign Template.
Changes have different scopes. Editing a template updates the affected fields in jobs that have not started. Editing a series changes its future, unstarted occurrences; editing an individual entry changes only that occurrence. In-progress and completed work is not rewritten by template updates. This matters when, for example, a new checklist step should apply to next month's bookkeeping without altering the close already underway.
Plans and trial
Starter costs US$49 per seat per month, or US$480 per seat annually, equivalent to US$40 a month. It includes unlimited projects and clients, templates and workflow automation. Premium costs US$59 monthly, or US$600 annually, equivalent to US$50 a month, and adds time tracking, budget-versus-actual reports and capacity tools. Enterprise is quoted separately and includes options such as single sign-on.
The free trial lasts 14 days and needs no credit card. Time reports are useful for seeing where staff hours go across clients and services, but they require Premium rather than Starter.
