What it does
Jirav provides budgeting, forecasting, reporting and dashboards. Its driver-based models cover profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow for businesses and accounting advisers.
Jirav connects accounting, workforce and operational figures to budgets, forecasts and management reports. A driver-based model links an assumption, such as units sold or staffing, to financial results. Its profit-and-loss, balance-sheet and cash-flow projections help show the wider effect of a changed assumption.
For an account with scenario access, open Plan, use the arrow beside the active plan and select Manage Plans. Clone an existing plan for a snapshot or choose + Add New Plan for a blank one. A clone starts in Archived and no longer follows changes to its original. Choose Make Active to use it in reports and dashboards. If the active-plan allowance is full, archive another plan first. Archiving preserves a plan for later use; Delete is permanent.
Scenario availability and the number of active plans depend on the account configuration. Discuss the required scenario and departmental access when arranging a business demo. The official business packages and help-centre account types do not have a clear one-to-one mapping, so no package-specific scenario allowance is promised here.
Strengths
- Financial assumptions feed linked profit, balance-sheet and cash projections
- Cloned plans preserve a scenario independently of its original
- Active scenarios can be compared in reports and dashboards
Watch out for
- Plan deletion is permanent; archiving is the reversible option
- Active-scenario and editor allowances depend on the subscription
Best for
- Businesses and accounting advisers preparing operating forecasts
