What it does
Jobscan analyses a resume against a job listing and provides a match report covering skills and keywords. Its wider job-search tools include resume building, application tracking and interview-practice features.
Use the actual job description rather than a broad occupation name when making a comparison. Jobscan’s match report is intended to show differences between that advert and your resume, including skills or keywords that the document does not mention.
Review each suggested addition against your real experience. A missing phrase may reveal something you can explain more clearly, but adding a skill you do not have would make the document less useful. The service also provides formatting guidance, resume templates and a tracker for applications. Its score is a tool’s assessment of a document comparison, so use it to identify edits you can justify rather than treating it as an employer’s own selection result.
A free membership includes scans each month, while Premium unlocks additional features. A Premium trial converts to paid billing unless cancelled through the account page before it ends. Cancelling a paid plan keeps access through the current period and does not automatically issue a refund.
