What it does
BookWyrm is a decentralized network for reading updates, reviews and book discovery. Communities can connect with other ActivityPub services.
Choose a community whose registration and moderation fit your needs, then track reading and share updates there. BookWyrm allows more control over who sees a post than a single public reading feed would provide. Federation connects communities, while the rules and account access still belong to the server you join.
Strengths
- Reading updates and annual goals
- Post-level audience controls
Best for
- Readers who prefer a federated book community
