What it does
JoyToKey converts controller buttons and sticks into keyboard strokes and mouse movement. It is shareware with a downloadable trial.
Map only the keys needed by the game, then keep the profile under a recognizable name. A free download is a chance to evaluate shareware, not evidence of an unrestricted free license.
If profiles appear missing after an upgrade, the official guidance names JoyToKey.ini and the .cfg files in the older folder. Keep those files before changing installations and check the Documents/JoyToKey folder used by newer versions.
