What it does
JumpCloud Password Vault is a cloud-based team credential store accessed through the user portal, JumpCloud Go browser extension and Protect mobile app.
JumpCloud Password Vault changes the storage model from the vendor's legacy local-device manager to a centralized service. Users manage records in the portal, use Go for browser autofill and view or fill credentials through Protect on mobile. The FAQ says offline access is unavailable and mobile record creation or editing must happen through a portal.
During migration, verify shared-folder permissions and choose where new edits will be made. Changes added to the legacy manager do not synchronize back into Password Vault automatically.
