What it does
Jumsoft's Money app organizes personal accounts, category budgets and income-versus-expense reports on Mac and iOS. Selected accounts can be shared through iCloud for joint editing. Paid purchase options are available, and bank records can be imported from files or through Direct Downloads.
Turn recorded spending into a budget
Open Budget in the Mac sidebar and add income or expense categories with their target amounts. Set the period to a week, two weeks, month or year, and choose its starting date. The gear control selects which accounts and tags count toward the plan and whether transfers are included.
Everything Else groups spending that has no budgeted category yet. Add a category from that section when it deserves its own allowance. For example, tagging expenses for a renovation lets the budget focus on that project across several ordinary categories.
For existing history, import CSV, QIF, OFX, QFX or MT940 files. Import rules can apply repeatable changes as new records arrive. The scheduler prepares recurring transactions for confirmation when they belong in the register.
Paid access and bank downloads
The publisher lists paid app access and separate Direct Downloads purchases. Direct Downloads depends on support for your financial institution.
