What it does

Kaedim combines machine learning with an in-house art team to produce 3D assets from references. Its web workflow includes asset specifications, annotated review, staged revisions and model downloads.

The Create page starts with an asset type and up to ten images of the same object from different angles. Keep the object clear against its background. Prototype requests are for individual objects; detailed characters, realistic animals and complex foliage follow the Game-Ready route.

Review happens at a particular stage. When the latest iteration is For Review, choose Request revision and mark the relevant image with an arrow, rectangle or ellipse. Take Screenshot in the 3D viewer saves the current angle for annotation. Numbered markers connect specific regions to written feedback; UV or texture maps can join that panel during their corresponding review step. This route cannot reopen a completed stage.

After completion, Download opens a format chooser. Use a version's ellipsis menu when a particular iteration is needed. The documented choices include GLB, GLTF, OBJ, FBX, USD, textured OBJ with MTL, and images.

Strengths

  • Screenshots and numbered annotations connect feedback to a precise view or model region.
  • Completed assets can be downloaded by version and format.

Watch out for

  • Revision requests cannot reopen a completed production stage.
  • Prototype requests exclude multi-object scenes and the more complex Game-Ready inputs.

Best for

  • Teams reviewing externally produced props at defined stages
  • Reference packs that need clear visual feedback and versioned handoff
