What it does
Kaleidoscope compares text files, images and folders and integrates comparison and merge review with Git file history.
Start with changed files or folders, then use File History to compare earlier Git revisions in context. Three-way views show changes between the base and each side; a live working-copy changeset can filter by modification, filename or type. Character-level text differences and split/blink image views serve different review tasks. Folder comparison can copy items to the other side. The current trial includes all features for seven days and requires macOS 15 or later. The individual subscription covers one user on three devices with updates; Team adds management.
