What it does
Simple Kakeibo by BUBIAPPS is a Japanese household expense app for iPhone and Android. Enter income and purchases yourself, then review calendar totals and category charts. Basic tracking and CSV export are free; importing CSV files, cloud features and detailed reports require Premium.
Start with a date and an expense
No account is needed for the basic ledger. The initial setup asks when your budget month begins and lets you enter or skip a monthly budget. A purchase has an amount, category, expense type, payment method and date, with an optional note. Payment-method labels can represent cash or a card without connecting to a bank.
The fixed, variable and special expense groups separate regular commitments from less frequent costs. Initial categories can be hidden by archiving them, while your own categories and payment labels can be added later.
What the free version covers
Free use includes entries, daily calendar totals, category charts and CSV export. Premium adds CSV import, cloud backup and sync, detailed trends and the calendar breakdown by expense type. There is no bank linking or automatic receipt reading.
