What it does

IRIS KashFlow is online bookkeeping software for UK sole traders and small businesses. It connects quotes, invoices, purchases, expenses and bank feeds, with VAT submission tools. A 14-day trial is available; paid Starter and Business plans differ in invoice, transaction and user allowances.

Follow a quoted job through payment

KashFlow converts an accepted quote or estimate into an invoice. Automatic invoicing and reminders support repeat billing, while bank feeds bring transactions into the books for reconciliation. Purchases, receipts and mileage cover the job's outgoing costs.

Starter or Business?

Starter's standard monthly price is GBP 13.50 and Business is GBP 27.50. The pricing page also runs introductory offers for new customers and separate annual-billing offers.

Starter is for one user and lists ten invoices and up to 25 reconciled bank transactions. Business allows multiple users, unlimited invoices and unlimited bank-transaction reconciliation. Both list bank feeds and VAT submission.

Use Take a Trial to create a 14-day trial account. Compare the invoice and reconciliation allowances before choosing a subscription, especially if several people will use the books. KashFlow Connect is the separate accountant-facing service, so its free access should not be confused with free business bookkeeping.

Strengths

Watch out for
