What it does
KDE Connect links devices for file and link sharing, remote file browsing, notifications and other cross-device functions.
Pair KDE Connect on the two devices before sending. On KDE Plasma, select Share file from its tray menu or send selected Dolphin files to a device; Android can use Send files or the system share menu. Most receiving platforms save to Downloads. iOS needs the app open and the screen unlocked during transfer, and received files go to its KDE Connect folder in the Files app. File and link exchange sits alongside media controls, notifications and other device features, whose availability varies by platform.
