What it does
KeePassDroid is an Android KeePass-compatible application supporting KDBX databases, including format version 4.
KeePassDroid provides an Android interface for an existing KeePass database. Its official FAQ confirms KDBX version 4 support and limits import/export compatibility to KeePass formats. Convert a different vault format through an appropriate desktop tool before moving it onto the phone. Synchronization is a separate decision: the FAQ points to external storage-sync apps rather than promising a built-in cross-device service. Decide which copy is authoritative before editing the same file elsewhere.
Strengths
- Android access to KeePass KDBX databases
Watch out for
- Other vault formats require conversion outside the app
- Cross-device synchronization uses a separate arrangement
Best for
- Android users maintaining an existing KeePass database
