What it does
KCB Kenya offers account payments, bills and money transfers through mobile banking. Its app also provides recent activity and full statements that can be downloaded or delivered to your registered email.
To retain a full account record, open Manage My Money → Manage Statements from the app home page. Mini statements sit under the account menu. Screenshots are disabled, so use the statement download when you need a copy.
Existing app users sign in with their registered mobile number and old PIN, then set a new PIN. A profile must have a linked account; the first account link requires a branch visit. Activation from abroad needs your registered Kenyan SIM with roaming and SMS reception. KCB iBank and *522# remain alternative access routes.
Bankika Transactional Account has no monthly fee or minimum operating balance, with a KES 200 opening deposit. Its published charges include KES 30 for an ATM withdrawal, a one-time KES 430 debit-card fee and KES 200 for salary processing. Counter withdrawals cost KES 200, rising to KES 5,000 for daily amounts above KES 1 million. These charges exclude tax.
Bankika applicants need a valid Kenyan ID or passport and a Kenya Revenue Authority tax PIN certificate. The absence of a monthly account fee does not remove charges for individual services.
