What it does
Keyword Hero maps organic search terms to Google Analytics sessions using statistical and machine-learning methods. Its dashboard and separate GA4 upload property support keyword, key-event and performance analysis.
Match the right Google properties
Keyword Hero needs a Google account with Analytics and Search Console access. Select the source GA4 account, property and data stream, choose key events, then connect all relevant Search Console properties. Create the separate GA4 upload property when prompted.
That separate property keeps Keyword Hero's results apart from your original Analytics data. Keyword-to-session associations use statistical and machine-learning methods. Allow processing time rather than expecting a live view of today's visits.
Choose by organic sessions
| Plan | Organic sessions per month | Key events | Historical data |
|---|---|---|---|
| Little Free | 2,000 | 0 | None |
| Big | 10,000 | 1 | 1 month |
| Giant | 50,000 | 3 | 6 months |
| Ultimate | 250,000 | 10 | 16 months |
Little Free is a lasting free plan without a card requirement. Paid plans add event analysis and larger volumes. Keep Search Console connected to the original GA4 property; the FAQ advises against connecting it to the new Keyword Hero property.
Strengths
- Connects organic keyword analysis with session and key-event context.
- Keeps the keyword upload in a separate Analytics property.
Watch out for
- Little Free excludes key-event tracking and allows 2,000 monthly organic sessions.
- Keyword data takes time to process and is not a live view of visits.
Best for
