What it does

Kibo brings B2B and B2C commerce, order management, inventory visibility, and related retail workflows into a modular platform. Routing strategies determine how orders move among stores, warehouses, and vendors.

The nearest location does not always produce the fewest shipments. Kibo can rank fulfillment locations by distance, cost, speed, or shipment count and exclude a store that has reached its daily capacity. Decide which objective matters for a representative order, then consider what should happen if the selected location rejects it. Routing can split or consolidate shipments and move the work to another scenario.

Package choice affects how much of that process you can configure:

Product and package Main scope
OMS Starter Inventory, orders, returns, and omnichannel fulfillment
OMS Essentials Adds custom routing and fulfillment optimization
OMS Advanced Adds catalogs, price lists, promotions, subscriptions, and dropshipping
B2B or B2C Commerce Starter Catalog, checkout, payments, orders, and returns
Commerce Essentials Adds price lists, promotions, and inventory; B2B includes quotes and business accounts
Commerce Advanced Adds AI search and search merchandising
Commerce Complete Adds content tools, order management, point of sale, and dropshipping

Pricing is quoted around ingested order lines, rather than merchandise value. Front-end hosting can be optional in commerce packages, so include it in the proposal where needed.

Use the login for your account's hosting region. An account in one region does not automatically give access to another.

Strengths

  • Routing can balance several business objectives and location capacities
  • Fulfillment tools connect assigned orders with store-associate work

Watch out for

  • Order-line volume must be scoped separately from order value
  • Custom routing starts with OMS Essentials

Best for

  • Retailers coordinating order fulfillment across stores, warehouses, and vendors
