What it does
KidsGardening provides lesson plans, garden activities and resources for adults gardening with children. Its activity listings identify age or school-grade groups, with separate educator and caregiver routes.
KidsGardening makes the age group a useful first filter. Activities are labelled for groups ranging from preschool to older school students, allowing an adult to choose a task before gathering supplies. The resource library includes reuse-and-repurpose activities, teaching outdoors and square-foot gardening, alongside lesson plans. Begin with the caregiver or educator route that matches the setting, then select an activity for the children involved. Grant programmes are another part of the organisation and have their own application conditions; they are separate from simply using an activity in a home garden.
