What it does
Kit helps creators publish newsletters, organise subscribers and build email sequences for launches and customer follow-up. Its Free plan supports up to 10,000 subscribers, while paid plans expand automation and team tools. An account is required, and paid features have a 14-day trial without a card.
An event can pull a subscriber forward in a Kit automation. For a course launch, a purchase event can move a buyer beyond the remaining sales sequence toward the next stage. A condition instead chooses a path based on the subscriber's data. Use that distinction when a buyer needs to skip promotion rather than wait to reach another condition.
Date events need particular care: a date already in the past moves new entrants straight to that event, skipping preceding steps. Conditions have another maintenance consequence. Deleting one removes its connected branches up to their merge point, while actions already performed on subscribers remain in effect. Map the intended paths before changing a live launch sequence.
Compare the plan's tools as well as the number of subscribers:
| Plan | Main access |
|---|---|
| Free | Up to 10,000 subscribers; broadcasts, forms and audience tagging |
| Creator | Unlimited visual automations and email sequences; paid recurring access |
| Pro | Creator tools plus unlimited users, collaborative editing and editing links in sent broadcasts |
Paid plans have a 14-day trial without a card. Prices scale with audience size, and annual billing has a different rate from monthly billing.
A reusable automation can be shared from Automate > Visual Automations: open it, use the three-dot menu and enable Share. The link lets another Kit user copy it into their account; new users can register from that page. Included sequences, email content, tags, fields and notes travel with the template, so review them before sharing.
