What it does

Knowi queries SQL, NoSQL and API data and turns reusable datasets into dashboards, alerts and embedded reports. Its shared business definitions support natural-language analysis and operational apps. Access requires an account, with quotes based on users and deployment.

Knowi combines data from different systems at query time. A dataset can hold field mappings, business definitions and transformations that are reused in reporting and AI analysis. Generated queries remain available for inspection, and datasets can use live, cached or scheduled refresh behavior.

Build a first dashboard with the demo connection

After signing in, open Queries and choose New Datasource+. Select MongoDB to use Knowi's preconfigured demonstration database. Test Connection, save it, then follow Configure Queries. Select the fields through the query interface or write the query directly, and choose Create & Run. Use Create Visualization, save and name the widget, then drag it from Widgets onto a dashboard.

Plan scope

Prices are quoted according to users and deployment. Cloud, on-premises and hybrid deployments are offered across the plans.

Plan Internal users Records stored in ElasticStore
Basic 5 2 million
Team 10 15 million
Enterprise 20 Unlimited

The Management API is a paid add-on on Basic and Team and included on Enterprise. Embedding with per-user sign-in context is an add-on on all three. Trial access uses an account; its terms require purchasing the relevant subscription or exporting data before expiry to avoid losing trial data and configuration.

Strengths

  • Queries across SQL, NoSQL and API sources using shared dataset definitions.
  • Exposes generated queries for inspection alongside natural-language analysis.

Watch out for

  • Management API access costs extra on Basic and Team.
  • Embedding with per-user sign-in context is an add-on even on Enterprise.
  • Trial data and configuration must be exported or covered by a purchased subscription before expiry.

Best for

  • Teams combining operational data from different systems into reusable BI and embedded analytics
