What it does
Kongregate is a portal for browser games and independent submissions. It combines genre browsing with player badges and achievements.
Choose a genre when you want a short session, or follow a game’s badge goals for a more directed challenge. Kongregate’s catalogue includes user-created work, so a title’s own page is the place to check its controls and requirements. Its Kreds purchase system also means a free portal does not establish that every game feature is free.
Create a Kongregate account if you want the portal to track badge progress and achievements. Treat that shared profile separately from any purchases a particular game offers.
