What it does
Kostić Type Foundry publishes typefaces developed by Zoran and Nikola Kostić, including Altivo, Chiavettieri, Breakers and Argumentum. Its specimens explain character features and link to retail purchasing options.
Altivo and Chiavettieri share basic proportions, and their tabular figures have matching widths. A report can therefore pair serif text with sans tables while keeping a consistent column of prices or dates. Altivo’s own tabular figures also align across weights and italics, including its heaviest styles.
The Altivo page separates Specimen, OpenType features, Language support and Buying options. Its examples show ready-made and custom fractions, superscript and subscript figures, lowercase superscripts and standard or discretionary ligatures. The ink traps are intended for text rendering and also become visible details at headline size.
Buying options links to MyFonts for single styles and family packages. On the retailer’s page, choose a style in Glyphs or Tech Specs, then use Buying Choices to set the required licence. Individual desktop use is priced by users; the separate Company Desktop offer is annual and based on total employees. Website text, app embedding and commercial electronic publications require their corresponding licences. The ordinary desktop agreement does not permit installation on a server or a digital asset-management system.
