What it does
Kraken.io provides a web image optimizer, a compression and resizing API, and official WordPress and Magento integrations.
Choose lossy, lossless or Expert settings, upload images and download the optimized files or ZIP. Expert controls quality, retained metadata, orientation and subsampling. Free web batches allow 20 files at 1 MB each; PRO raises files to 32 MB and adds resize, conversion and ZIP uploads up to 1 GB. Download links remain available for 12 hours. Paid quota counts original source bytes across web, API and plugins, with billing-cycle resets and overages; the separate 100 MB account-testing allowance is not monthly.
