What it does
#LancsBox X is Lancaster University's corpus-language analysis software, with KWIC, word, text and advanced-query workflows and instructional exercises.
Prepare a folder of documents for #LancsBox X, then add files, folders or subfolders through My Data or drag-and-drop and load the corpus. The manual lists TXT, DOCX, PDF, PPTX, XLSX and XML inputs. Use KWIC to search a term, sort or filter its surrounding contexts, then copy rows or save the active panel. Word, lemma and n-gram choices change what a frequency query counts. XML corpus export is restricted to unrestricted corpora. The published licence permits free non-commercial use under CC BY-NC-ND, so commercial use needs separate terms.
