LastPass combines personal and business password management with business tools for identifying credential risks and monitoring application use.
LastPass’s current homepage emphasizes Business Max, connecting employee credential-risk indicators with controls for websites and applications. It also links a separate personal password offering. The monitoring controls should therefore be evaluated for the specific business plan.
Recovery is a separate setup decision. The official support article says to use a browser and device where the account was previously accessed. Email or SMS verification is followed by automatic recovery for that browser/device, or a one-time password generated and saved beforehand; support cannot supply those saved passwords. MFA can still be required. For Business or Teams, an administrator may help reset access, while an enforced Prohibit account recovery policy can block self-service recovery.
