What it does

LeadSquared manages sales records and follow-up, with a Distribution Engine for assigning leads, opportunities and tasks. Rules choose eligible users, distribute work and respond to missed deadlines. Sales subscriptions are billed annually; the engine requires separately enabled paid NextGen access.

Route incoming records

In Distribution Engine, define Rule Criteria, Select Users, Distribution Method, then Fallback & SLA. Rules run in priority order and only the first match applies. Place specific rules before broad catch-alls.

Choose round robin for equal turns, weighted distribution for a chosen ratio or load balancing for different workloads. A default user receives records with no eligible recipient. Optional response deadlines can reassign work; after-hours records wait in the rule's queue. Publish activates the rule at the bottom of the list, where it can be reordered.

Paid access

Sales Pro costs INR 2,500 per user per month billed annually; Sales Super costs INR 5,000 on the same basis. Both list unlimited contacts. Distribution Engine is a paid NextGen capability requiring account-manager enablement, so do not assume a base subscription includes it. Book a demo to discuss the account and required additions.

Strengths

  • Assignment rules cover leads, opportunities, and tasks
  • Fallback owners and response deadlines address unassigned work

Watch out for

  • Distribution Engine requires paid NextGen access and account-team enablement

Best for

  • Sales operations teams assigning incoming records across representatives
