What it does
Learn Git Branching simulates a Git repository in the browser with a terminal-oriented learning interface.
Use the simulated repository to connect a Git command with the structure it changes. This is useful when branch names and commit relationships are still abstract. The browser app requires JavaScript. Practise the corresponding command on a disposable local repository afterward when you want to connect the simulation to your own workflow. The sandbox supports undo, reset and simulated remote repositories. The project software uses the MIT licence; practising here changes the simulated repository, rather than your own project history.
