What it does
Azure Architecture Icons supplies Microsoft’s official SVG product symbols for architecture diagrams, training and documentation. The collection works through ordinary SVG imports, including drag-and-drop placement in Visio. Its usage rules preserve the icon shape and limit reuse to the stated purposes.
Download the general-purpose SVG collection and drag the required symbols into your drawing tool. Visio supports that route, but Microsoft does not provide these icons as Visio stencils and says it has no plans to do so. Set up the team’s template around SVG imports if an existing workflow expects a stencil library.
Place the product name near its symbol and keep the icon shape intact. Microsoft’s guidelines prohibit cropping, flipping, rotating or distorting the artwork, or using an Azure symbol to stand for your own product. Its permission covers copying, displaying and distributing the icons for architecture diagrams, training materials and documentation; other uses require explicit permission.

Watch out for
- The icons may not be cropped, flipped, rotated or distorted.
