What it does

AzCopy v10 is Microsoft's command-line utility for transferring data into, out of and between Azure storage accounts.

AzCopy v10 copies data to, from and between Azure storage accounts. Before choosing a command, establish data access: owning a storage account does not automatically provide the required permissions. The guide supports Microsoft Entra identities or SAS credentials, with recursive copy for directory trees. The utility has MIT-licensed source and supports maintained Windows, Linux and macOS versions; service/storage charges are separate from its software license. Microsoft points high-scale migration planning to the separate Azure Storage Mover service.
