What it does

Leave Dates gives employees a shared calendar for booking time off and tracking approval. Managers can inspect overlaps, discuss a request and retract a decision when it needs reconsideration. Three subscription plans cover basic leave tracking through advanced allowances and connections, with a thirty-day trial.

Drag across dates on the calendar and choose Book to submit a request. The assigned approver sees pending items in Summary, Approvals. Open one to inspect it: Details distinguishes ordinary overlaps from conflicts where a leave limit has been reached, with filters for department or company. Updates holds comments from the employee and approvers. Undo retracts an approval or rejection, returns the request to pending and records the change.

Leave management plans

Plan Main scope
Starter Leave requests, balances, calendars and reports
Essential Adds calendar synchronization, overlap controls, group requests and time off in lieu
Plus Adds personal leave-year dates, unlimited allowances, company sign-on and custom connections

Subscriptions bill monthly or annually. Every added employee counts, even without logging in; archiving a former employee removes them from the user count. Upgrades take effect immediately, while downgrades start with the next billing cycle.

Use Try for Free to create an account and begin thirty days without payment details. The trial allows users to explore the plans and switch tiers before choosing a subscription.

Strengths

  • Approvers can inspect day-by-day overlaps and leave-limit conflicts
  • Undo returns a decision to pending and records the change

Watch out for

  • All added employees count toward billing even if they never log in

Best for

  • Teams replacing emailed leave requests with a shared approval calendar
