What it does
WordSmith Tools is Windows software for concordances, salient keywords and word lists ordered alphabetically or by frequency.
Choose Concord for occurrences of a word or phrase in context, WordList for alphabetical or frequency order, and KeyWords for salient terms in a text or collection. These tools form one Windows suite. WordSmith 9 requires Windows 10 or later and keeps its program files together. Licence scope matters for shared use: permanent allocations remain usable, while an institution's time-limited allocation returns to demo mode when it expires. The institution can retain permanent ownership of the licence pool even when a student's allocation is temporary. Included free updates stop at a new major version.
