What it does

LiftLog is a free open-source workout tracker for iOS and Android. It stores data on the device, supports saved programs and progress charts, and starts a rest timer when a set is recorded.

Choose a saved program or start a session, then record each set as it is completed. LiftLog remembers earlier weights and repetitions and starts the rest clock immediately, reducing the need to switch between a log and a timer. Charts and personal-record flags provide a later review.

The app works offline without an account or cloud sync requirement. The core tracker is free and AGPL-licensed. An optional AI-generated program is a one-time purchase, separate from the free logging and history features.

Strengths

  • Set logging and an automatic rest timer share one workflow.
  • Core tracking works offline without an account.

Best for

  • Strength trainees who prefer local offline workout records.
