What it does
Linearicons provides a free subset and a larger paid line-icon pack. The library includes SVG and desktop or web fonts, with keyword ligatures and a 20-pixel design grid.
The free catalog doubles as a cheat sheet: select a symbol to see its usage codes, or download the desktop package for SVG, PDF, web fonts and an installable font. In the desktop font, typing a keyword such as pencil or write inserts the pencil symbol. The free edition also offers CDN routes for SVG symbols and icon fonts.
Linearicons is drawn on a 20-pixel grid, with previews at 20 and 40 pixels. The premium pack adds more icons and formats, including Illustrator, EPS, Photoshop shapes and PNGs at several sizes. IcoMoon can build a smaller custom font containing only the icons you select.
The free version uses CC BY-SA 4.0 and asks for a link to Linearicons as attribution. Premium removes that credit requirement, covers up to ten designers or developers per licence and includes future updates for a one-time purchase.
