What it does
Linnworks centralises channel orders, inventory, listings and shipping operations. Its rules engine sorts and routes work, custom views present relevant queues to each team and shipment tracking returns to the originating sales channel.
Linnworks combines channel orders with inventory, shipping and fulfillment work. Custom views let packers and warehouse managers work from different queues. Routing can connect owned warehouses, FBA, suppliers and third-party fulfillment.
Understand rule order
Rules run after an eligible order is downloaded and saved. They can assign folders, locations, tags and postal services. Enabled rules execute from top to bottom. If two matching rules assign the same property, the later rule can overwrite the earlier result. Keep conditions specific and review their sequence.
After editing a rule, click Save. Back or Close leaves pending changes unapplied. Check the order's Audit Trail when an expected action is missing, then compare its details with the conditions.
The Rules Engine skips unpaid orders and orders whose source is Amazon FBA. Newly created rules do not automatically process existing orders, and unlocking or unparking an order does not rerun them. These distinctions matter when diagnosing an untouched queue.
Commercial and user setup
Linnworks quotes monthly order tiers, with overages above the allowance. Advanced modules add separate scope, and onboarding has a one-off fee based on implementation needs. Request a proposal covering routing destinations and the team workflow as well as order volume.
Every operator needs a unique email-and-password account. Administrators manage permissions under Settings > User Management; some subscription changes remain reserved for the Account Holder.
