What it does
LinShare is an open-source file-sharing platform for organizations, with upload requests, shared spaces, role permissions and administrator policies.
Invite internal or guest contributors into an upload request, or create a shared space with administrator, contributor and reader roles. LinShare tracks file events such as sharing, downloading and deletion and can notify users when files are opened or downloaded. An organization can set domain policies, account quotas, upload-size limits and allowed extensions, then connect LDAP or SSO. Those controls suit recurring exchanges with partners. Confirm the deployment offer and its limits with the operator before assigning storage or identity-management responsibility.
